Purpose of Education Loan
An Education Loan may be availed for:
- Tuition fees
- Admission fees and examination fees
- Purchase of books, equipment, laptop, and study materials
- Hostel and accommodation expenses
- Travel expenses (for overseas education)
- Caution deposit and other refundable deposits (as per norms)
- Any other education-related expenses approved by the lender
Eligibility Criteria
A. Student Applicant
An applicant must satisfy the following conditions:
- Must be an Indian citizen
- Secured admission in a recognized institution (India or abroad)
- Admission through merit-based selection or entrance exam (if applicable)
- Satisfactory academic record
- Co-applicant (Parent/Guardian/Spouse) with stable income
B. Co-Applicant (Parent/Guardian/Spouse)
- Stable and regular source of income
- Acceptable credit score
- Ability to support repayment obligation
- Proper income and identity documentation

- PAN Card (Student & Co-applicant)
- Aadhaar / Identity & Address Proof

- Admission letter from institution
- Fee structure issued by college/university
